"The Pompey History Society engaged with TownsWeb to create a multi-media website to curate and display the findings of a Heritage Fund project to tell the story of when Portsmouth Football Club were champions of England in 1949 and 1950. Combining oral histories, photographs, documents and text, the platform offered the project maximum flexibility to present the outcomes in an engaging and attractive way for our audiences.
Throughout the journey, the society was supported by a dedicated customer relations manager, who was able to guide volunteers through the process of learning how to maximise the power of the archiving platform. We are delighted with the outcome, which also gives the society a platform to develop future projects."
